The Still Life Outdoors | Peggi Kroll Roberts

In this workshop, the outdoor still life will be the subject matter with a focus on improving drawing skills and seeing value and color relationships. There will be daily demonstrations focusing on design and emphasizing the big, simple shapes that are the foundation of good painting. Peggi’s teaching style is unparalleled for those wanting to simplify their work with the maximum impact. Personal expression will be encouraged. You will practice specific assignments, which will help you to “get to the point a little more quickly.” Be ready to cover a lot of canvas and to “learn through earnest mileage.” You will receive plenty of one-on-one instruction and individual demonstrations will be given as needed.
